Înțelegerea relației complexe dintre societate și mediu prin intermediul serviciilor ecosistemice forestiere: o revizuire sistematică a literaturii de specialitate

Rezumat

Este bine cunoscut faptul că între societate și mediu există o relație complexă, iar pentru a înțelege și cuantifica această conexiune a fost introdus conceptul de servicii ecosistemice (ES). Implicarea acestui instrument facilitează explorarea și înțelegerea diverselor beneficii oferite în mod direct sau indirect de ES asupra populației. În special, serviciile ecosistemice forestiere (FES) dețin un rol semnificativ în menținerea unui echilibru între natură și societate, deoarece intervin în conservarea biodiversității, susținerea mediului și asigurarea unei calități superioare a vieții. Astfel, pădurile oferă un spectru variat de bunuri și servicii, care pot fi sistematizate în patru categorii principale: aprovizionare, suport, reglare și culturale.

Studiul de față realizează o revizuire a literaturii de specialitate în ceea ce privește serviciile ecosistemice forestiere cu accent pe conservarea biodiversității, dezvoltarea economică și gestionarea durabilă a acestor resurse naturale. Mai mult de atât, s-a urmărit identificarea măsurilor și soluțiilor silvice analizate în cadrul diverselor cercetări, fiind evidențiate diferite aspecte, precum importanța dezvoltării sustenabile a pădurilor, percepția diferiților factori interesați față de resursele naturale, protejarea suprafețelor forestiere, dezvoltarea economică și planificarea peisajului socio-ecologic. Rezultatele studiului aduc în prim plan importanța și necesitatea unei abordări holistice în cadrul cercetărilor ecologice și sociale pentru conturarea unei viziuni unitare asupra serviciilor ecosistemice forestiere. Această lucrare prezintă o imagine de ansamblu pentru cercetările viitoare, iar pe de altă parte reprezintă un instrument util în implementarea unei strategii sustenabile de dezvoltare a ecosistemelor forestiere.
